Crew
Alex Pesarik has been fishing Connecticut waters since he was old enough to hold a fishing rod. Growing up on the Connecticut River, he spent countless hours fishing the shores of the river during his youth. He also spent time surf fishing Martha's Vineyard and the Connecticut and Rhode Island Shoreline with his father. Once his father gave him the keys to the boat, Alex was bit by the saltwater bug and never looked back. Fishing alongside some of the other great captains of Long Island Sound including Ben Demario, Mike Marro and the late Mark Grabbher, Alex has learned from the best. Alex holds a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries from the University of Massachusetts and worked for Connecticut DEEP Fisheries. For 10 years, Alex was a high school Environmental Science Teacher bringing students on Long Island Sound throughout the school year sharing his love for the ocean. In addition to Alex, your trip may be captained by relief Captain Bob Mrowka and mated by Dave Pesarik, Alex’s father.
